What is stillness: Simply put, stillness is the absence of movement, but with intention. In a culture, filled with hustle, getting to the next thing, opportunity, person and place; it often feels counterproductive to be still. However, stillness is an action within itself. The difference between needing to move physically and being still, is, the lack of physical movement is for a purpose. With stillness, you’re making a decision to rest, to not move until it’s time, and to surrender. All of these decisions may seem difficult because its unfamiliar, but powerful when you chose to be still.
