Balance Series:

Balance Within Yourself

Having balance will be rewarding and has many benefits. Those benefits can include, feeling organized, being in routine, having control over your surroundings, experiencing less anxiety, feeling less overwhelmed etc. However, it can be difficult to find where to start and how far to go. With this series, I am going to write about how to find balance amongst different areas of your life. While some information may appear to be repetitive, this is because consistency and good habits causes fruitfulness.

First, I am going to talk about balance within yourself. Think about five different areas in your life that you would like to find balance (just you individually, nothing outside of you). For me, it is fitness, my faith, sleep, eating well and blogging. While these activities make me feel good, some get left on the backburner because of time, other commitments, and other factors. When they are left on the backburner time after time, I start to feel anxious. The reason being is because these activities bring balance in my life. So, I make sure to prioritize them for my mental health; I encourage you to do the same. With the five things that was listed, think about how they can be consistently incorporated into your life, whether it be five minutes, 20 minutes or even an hour, several times a week. Some may feel that this is a lot, and some can give themselves more. There is always going to be outside factors that come up but remember to be true to what balances you. This will help feel more in control of what is happening outside of you and establish a sense of peace.
