What does peace look like for you? Do have enough peace in your life, or would like more peace?
The questions above are to help you think about how peace shows up for you.
When the world is so chaotic, it can be difficult to find s moment to ourselves to take a beat and breath. It’s important for us to rejuvenate and reset, otherwise we find ourselves possibly feeling unstable and off track.
So, how can we establish routines that brings us moments of peace? Let’s start by thinking about what relaxes you. Think about where you are, what you are doing and how it effects your mind. If you are not able to think about what relaxes you, I encourage you to create a list of activities that makes you feel joyful. After you make this list, be aware of how you feeling with each interest that you write on your list; highlight the activities that bring you most comfort. The activities that gets highlighted, determine how they can be more present in your life. Take a moment to visualize this. Afterward, create a plan as to how you are going to use these activities to bring you peace. For instance, I visualized sitting on the front porch with tea. I can embed this into my routine at least 3x week, even for just 10 minutes. Although brief, this can allow a reset, to think clearly and to bring you a moment of peace to help you with balancing your day.
Seek Peace and Pursue it.
